Hi! My name is Clare Bear
I love coming to school everyday to see all my little friends in Room 1, You are great at writing,colouring inside the lines and reading your words! I love to see you being kind to each other and sharing.
Can I please come to your house after school some day for a sleep over?. We will have great fun. We can chat a lot and share some activities together and we can tell everybody in school all about our adventures the next day. I promise I will go to bed when your mum and dad ask me to.I will go straight to sleep and hopefully I won't start snoring! I am really looking forward to coming to your home!

Z is for zebra

A zebra came to school today!
He was very good at reading,writing and being a good friend!
I hope he returns to school tomorrow!

The School Band

Our school band is busy preparing for the St Patrick's Day parade.
Today we went outside to watch them marching around the playground.
We think they are great!

World Book Day

Today is World Book Day which is the greatest annual celebration of books and reading on the planet. The main aim is to encourage children to explore the pleasure of books and reading by providing them with an opportunity to have a book of their own.

Yesterday morning we walked down town to Easons.
We exchanged our World Book Day tokens for books.
The very kind assistants in Easons let us scan our own books AND gave us a free bar of chocolate!
We really enjoyed our trip to the book shop!
